Corinne Younker

Corinne Trimble Younker, 95, of Decatur, beloved wife and mother, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015. Born July 8, 1920, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Della Wesse Trimble and was married for 48 years to the late Milton Jacob Younker. After graduating with a Master's Degree in Creative Writing, Corinne went on to teach elementary school and was a lifelong University of Michigan fan.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Lynne Younker; son, Dirk Younker; cousin, Carol Golke and her son, Doug Goulke; sister in law, Marilyn June Anders and her husband, Robert J.; niece and nephew, Nancy and Herb Anders; grandkitten, Sambuca; and her loving caregivers, Victoria Armwood and Rose Vermillion.

In addition to her parents and husband, Corinne was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia; grand-kittens, Hallie, Buffie, Pepin, Sydney, Comiskey, Pooh, Tigger, Saabik, Worf, and Tava; and grand-puppies, Jessie, Taylor, and Sophie. They all are waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge.
