Mrs. Daisy Bannister Burdett, 94, of Decatur died Monday, February 23, 2009. She was a native of DeKalb County and a life long member of North Clarendon Baptist Church. Mrs. Burdett was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Burdett; and son, George Burdett. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy J. Burdett of Tucker; and sister, Bertha B. Shelfer of Tucker. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 28th, Rev. Tim Owens and Rev. Dr. Perry Ginn officiating. Burial will be in Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
