Dale Raymond

Dale Raymond, age 67, of Decatur, died at home Sunday January 18, 2009.  He was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church, a retiree of GM and The Home Depot and a proud husband, father and grandfather.  Dale is survived by his wife Beverly, two daughters Debbie (and husband Lamar) and Lisa (and husband Wahn), one son Jeff (and wife Diane), one daughter-in-law Atwell, 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son, Dale Jr.  Visitation will be at A.S. Turner & Sons from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday January 20^th.  Funeral services are in the chapel at A.S. Turner & Sons at 11 a.m. Wednesday January 21^st with Rev. Andrew T. Fields officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks contributions be made to his grandson’s baseball team The Atlanta Rough Riders at 1036 Cumberland Rd. NE Atlanta, 30306 or to the American Cancer Society or to Metropolitan Hospice.
