Dan Brinkley Glass

Mr. Dan Brinkley Glass, age 50, of Atlanta, GA died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at DeKalb Medical Center.  Danny was born in Atlanta on December 25, 1957.  He is a graduate of Lakeside High School and attended Georgia Southwestern and DeKalb Junior Colleges.  Danny is survived by his parents, Dan Weekes Glass and Anne Brinkley Glass of Atlanta, GA; his sister, Donna Glass Bowdoin and her husband William R. Bowdoin, Jr. of Athens, GA; his son, Thomas Alexander Glass of Atlanta, GA; his aunt, Mary B. Wiggins of Carrollton, GA; and his uncle, Charles W. Glass of Covington, GA.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence H. and Dorothy Glass of Decatur, GA and Robert W. and Lucile Brinkley of Sparta, GA; his aunt, Madge David Glass of Covington, GA, and his uncle, William J. Wiggins of Carrollton, GA.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons, 2773 N. Decatur, Rd., Decatur, GA  30033 with The Reverend Doctor George Gilmond Watson officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the Northside United Methodist Church Building Fund, 2799 Northside Drive, Atlanta, GA  30305.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at A. S. Turner & Sons.
