Mr. Dan T. Eidson, 95, a longtime resident of Stone Mountain and most recently of Wesley Woods Towers, died Saturday, April 10, 2010. He was a 73 year active member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Mr. Eidson was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army, and was a 60 year member of the American Legion. Preceded in death by his wife of 76 years, Mrs. Zora May Eidson, the love of his life, and his daughter, Betty Ann Eidson Bradshaw, Mr. Eidson is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David A. and Annette Eidson; four grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 13th with Rev. J. B. Reese and Rev. Ray Deaton officiating. Interment, Melwood Cemetery. Turner & Sons.
