David W.G. Macintyre

David W.G. Macintyre, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia passed away Thursday July 21, 2016. He was born June 25, 1937 in Franklinton, NC. Mr. Macintyre is survived by his wife, Nelda O. Macintyre, his daughter Sarah Catherine Goldstein, his son-in-law Ian Goldstein and stepchildren, Steven Oakley and Candace Crider. Mr. Macintyre attended Grady High School. He was a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity at the University of Alabama, and a graduate of Emory University School of Law. He was a member of the State Bars of Georgia and South Carolina. He retired from West Publishing Corp. in 1998. His greatest joys were sailing, feeding the homeless, and Alabama "Roll Tide" football. The family will receive friends at Clairmont Presbyterian Church located at 1994 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033 on Wednesday July 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or Clairmont Presbyterian Church.
