David Warner, 73, died August 11th in Decatur, GA. Although he was born in Toledo, OH and went to college in Austin, TX, he lived in the Shreveport/Bossier City area for most of his adult life, and worked for many of those years at The Payne Company as an HVAC technician. He later moved to Georgia, where he spent his remaining years. He was passionate about fishing and hunting and was a voracious reader. He loved Elvis, playing the guitar, Tarzan, chess, peppermints, peanut butter fudge and the Atlanta Braves.
He is survived by son Mark Warner and wife Lori of Decatur, GA; daughter Angel Spota and husband Danny of Cumming, GA; son Michael Warner and wife Jackie of Benton, LA; and son Brandon Warner and wife Victoria of Benton, LA. He leaves 11 grandchildren, Adam, Cody, Dustin, Anna, Sam, Emily, James, Justin, Lexi, Micah and Aiden.
His remains will go to his favorite fishing hole where he will forever be "the one that got away".
