Dewey Lamar Anderson

Mr. D. Lamar (Andy) Anderson, 81, of Stone Mountain died Thursday, September 3, 2009.  He graduated from Decatur Boys High and retired from Atlanta Motor Lines after 31 years of service.  Mr. Anderson was a member of Mt. Park United Methodist Church and a long time member of the Snellville Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, Frances Clifton Anderson; son, Steve (Kelly) Anderson, Dennis (Lynn) Anderson; daughter, Diane (Jeff) Nix; and six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several cousins, and many friends.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Park United Methodist Church in Stone Mountain with Rev. Charles Robinson and Rev. Charles Barnes officiating.  Interment Melwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Park United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2009 at A. S. Turner & Sons.
