Diana  Lamson Barber

Mrs. Diana Barber, age 71, of Stone Mountain, GA died Saturday, November 1, 2008.  She is a retired DeKalb County Educator, and a member of Avondale Estates First Baptist Church.  Mrs. Barber is survived by her husband, Weyman Barber; daughters, Lynda Mauborgne and Janice Mayfield; son, David Barber; grandchildren, Emily and Eric Mayfield; sisters, Carol Astin, and Doris McClung; and brother, Donald Lamson.   Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 5^th at 11:00 A.M. at Avondale Estates First Baptist Church with Rev. Clay Bowden officiating.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 P. M. until 6:00 P.M. Monday, November 3^rd at A. S. Turner & Sons and following the service Wednesday at the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Avondale Estates First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 47 Covington Rd., Avondale Estates, GA 30002.  A.
