Diana Lavon Jones

Mrs. Diana L. Jones, age 66, of Decatur died Sunday, November 2, 2008. She had been employed as a head teller with DeKalb Federal Bank and was a gifted arts and crafts person. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cindy Ponder. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Donald “Porter” Jones, Jr.; son, Terry Sloan of Decatur; mother, Lillian W. Hagan of Tampa, FL; sisters and brothers, Gene Hagan of Seffner, FL, Charlene Berkley of Seffner, FL, Sylvia Gore of Tampa, FL, Linda Sizemore of Enigma, GA, Sue Hagan of Seffner, FL, Duke Rogers of Tampa, FL; 4 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 6th, Rev. Tom Plank officiating.  Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons
