Don Noble Summerville

Don N. Summerville, 84 of Decatur passed away on May 5, 2013. A native Atlantan and graduate of Tech High School and the University of Georgia, Don was a combat veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, the former Patricia Hunter of Decatur and his two sons, Scott Summerville and his wife, Jackie and Jim Summerville and wife, Gayle along with three grandchildren, Lee Summerville, Anna Summerville and Samantha Summerville. He is also survived by a sister, Clara Landress of Snellville. Don completed a 28 year technical sales career with ICI Chemicals prior to retiring in 1990, after which he and Pat split time between Atlanta and Cresent Beach, Florida where they enjoyed life and the pleasure of many close friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 10th at 11:00am at Columbia Presbyterian Church in Decatur with Rev. Tom Hagood officiating followed by interment at the City of Decatur cemetery. The family will receive guests at 10:00 am at the Church immediately before the service.
