Donna Strom, 89 years old, of Decatur, GA passed away on December 16, after a brief illness. She was born on October 31, 1921 in Minneapolis, MN. She attended Swedish Hospital's Nursing School and Wheaton College. On August 31, 1946, she married Dick Strom who passed away in 1996. They worked as missionaries to India from 1949-1989 in Darjeeling, Kanpur, Coonoor, Roorkee and Dehra Dun. She is survived by her four daughters and families, Virginia Strom of Decatur, GA, Priscilla Strom of Gainesville GA, Brian and Elisabeth McRae of Gainesville, GA with grandchildren David, Robert, Donna, Jonathan and Andrew and Charles and Rebekka Randall of Worthing, England with grandchildren Philip and Peter. A graveside service will be conducted at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, 3000 Lawrenceville Highway at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 17. A memorial service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Sheridan Road at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21. Friends may visit the family at Westminster Church from 9-11a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Mission to the World, PO Box 116284, Atlanta, GA 30368-6284 for the work of Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Dehra Dun, India.
