Mrs. Doris Martin, 83, of Decatur, GA died Tuesday, June 8, 2010. She was born in Tucker, GA and is a native of the Atlanta area. The last of the 10 children of Sanford and Evie Ashworth, she was predeceased by son, Ricky Martin. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Richard L. Martin; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia & Leroy Timothy, Lawrenceville; granddaughter & grandson-in-law, Fara & Dr. Russell Bowler of Denver, CO; grandson & granddaughter-in-law, Thomas & Nikki Ward of Duluth; four great grandchildren and many devoted family and friends. Visitation with the family will be held at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, Decatur, 7 to 9 PM both Friday, June 11, and Saturday, June 12. The funeral service will be at 2 PM on Sunday, June 13, 2010 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Clay Bowden officiating. Burial will follow the service Fairview Cemetery.
