Doris Lucille Elam

Doris Lucille Elam, 87, daughter of Harriett Henck Elam and Kirby Ross Elam passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 after a long illness. She was born February 5, 1924 in Atlanta. She is survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends. She is predeceased by her parents and siblings. Doris worked at the Fox Theatre for many years. After retirement she lived at the Lutheran Towers in downtown Atlanta. The family thanks the nurses and staff at A.G. Rhodes, Cobb, for their loving care. Doris was loved by all who knew her and she will be missed. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday Dec. 14th with Rev. Ben Thacker officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1:30 pm Wednesday at A.S. Turner & Sons.
