Dorothy Clark Carr

June 22, 1930 — August 14, 2008

Dorothy C. Carr, age 78, of Decatur died Thursday, August 14, 2008. She retired from DeKalbCounty with over 30 years of service. Mrs. Carr was Worthy Matron of Grant Park Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of Columbia Drive Baptist Church for many years. She is survived by two daughters, one son, two brothers; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 16 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Larry T. Burgess officiating. Interment will follow at WestviewCemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 P. M. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
