Dorothy Dodd Cocchi

Mrs. Dorothy Dobbs Cocchi of Stone Mountain died November 29, 2005 at home surrounded by her family. She was an accomplished seamstress and an avid doll collector. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Marvin Paul Coochi, Sr; daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Dale Schimmack of Stone Mountain; sons and daughter-in-law, Marvin Paul and Joy Cocchi, Jr. of Douglasville, Douglas Cocchi, Sr of Avondale estates, Rocky Cocchi of North Augusta, SC, Tony Cocchi of Alpharetta; sisters, Betty Cocchi and Jimmie Avery, both of Douglasville; brothers, Jack Dobbs of Douglasville, Preston Dobbs of Grayson; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 2 p.m. Thursday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons
