Dorothy (Dot) Hale

Mrs. Dorothy (Dot) Smith Hale, age 83, died Wednesday, November 24, 2004. She was a member of the Fellowship Class of Decatur First United Methodist Church. She was a well known portrait artist and her work was church related and the sale of her work was all donated to the church building fund. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert L. Hale, Jr., Tucker, GA; daughter, Phoebe and Frank Brumbalo, Brandon, FL; son, Drew and Julia Hale, Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Erin Govednik, Ashley Ottman, Carson Hale, Anna Hale; and one great granddaughter, Dillen Bertelsen.  Funeral services will be held at 1 P. M. Saturday, November 25, 2004 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Dr. Julia Gary will officiate. Interment Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 P. M. Saturday at A.S.
