Mrs. Dorothy “Dottie” Freeman, 91, of Roswell, GA died Thursday, April 15, 2010. She graduated in 1939 from Agnes Scott College with a double major in Chemistry and German. Mrs. Freeman was a member of Decatur First United Methodist Church for over 80 years. Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 60 years, Clyde Cleveland Freeman, Jr., her parents, James Loyd and Eddie Rebecca Livsey Still and a sister, Aileen Hendley She is survived by her sons, Jim Freeman and his wife Elaine of Canton, GA, Bill Freeman of Lawrenceville, GA; daughter, Dottie King and her husband Tom of Kennesaw, GA; grandchildren, Bill Freeman, Marianne Freeman, Kimberly Freeman-Salinari, Cassie Freeman, Katelyn King, Sam King; and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 19, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Dr. David Naglee officiating. Interment, Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
