Dorothy Helen Davis, 84, of Atlanta died Saturday, January 12, 2008. Helen's zest for life led her to do whitewater rafting and to become the oldest sky diver in Georgia at the age of 75. She graduated from Georgia State Women's College and did graduate work at Duke University. Not only was Helen a past secretary of St. Mark's United Methodist Church for two years but she also worked at Georgia Tech under Bobby Dodd for seven years and was a collections agent for the IRS for more than 15 years. She was a member of the Hiking Club and Bridge Club and enjoyed opera and reading. Helen is survived by her sister Annelle A. Haynes of Montgomery, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Clairmont Crest on Saturday January 19, 2008 from 3 - 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to a favorite charity. The family will receive friends after the service at Clairmont Crest. A. S. Turner & Sons
