Dorothy Lowndes Wolcott

Dorothy Ruth Lowndes Wolcott, 81, of Decatur died Monday, October 8, 2007. She retired from the First National Bank of Atlanta, now Wachovia, with over 30 years of service. She was a member of Avondale-Pattillo United Methodist Church, Wachovia Retirement Club and the Kirkwood Girls. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Nancy Wolcott of Gainesville, GA, Richard and Gerrianne Wolcott of Decatur; brother, Bob Lowndes of Decatur; granddaughters, Leanne Billew of Statham, Dottie Smorey of Sugar Hill, Leslie Wolcott of Lansing, MI; and great grandson, Joshua Dale Billew. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 11th, Rev. Dave Allen Grady officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Park.
