Mrs. Dorothy Mae Cox, age 83, of Atlanta passed away Saturday, April 16, 2005. She was a member of the Euclid Avenue Baptist Church. Mrs. Cox was employed by the Georgia Power Company for 15 years, and then became a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles B. Cox, Sr. and her sister, Virginia Jones. She is survived by her sons, Charles B. Cox, Jr. and his wife, Carol Ann, and Michael Cox; grandchildren, Robin Ann Johnson, Penny Leigh Landro, Timothy Dustin Cox, David Carroll Youngblood and William Justin Youngblood; and eleven great grandchildren; one special cousin, Marie White; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 21st in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Rev. Charles Hamlin and Rev. Al Adams will officiate. Burial will follow at Dawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at A. S. Turner & Sons (404) 292-1551.
