Mr. Douglas Oliver “Doug” Horne, of Atlanta, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010. A native of Atlanta, Mr. Horne was a 1958 graduated of Druid Hills High School. He attended Georgia Tech and graduated in 1961 from Southern Poly Tech. Mr. Horne was Vice President for many years with Horne Desk Company, a firm started by his grandfather in 1912. Later Mr. Horne was associated with Atlanta P.C. Users group. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Carol Horne; daughters and sons-in-law, Cecelia Sanders Robbins and Mike Robbins of Lilburn; Patsy and Hank Plumberg of Atlanta; daughters, Michelle Dell of Snellville, Katie Horne of Atlanta; son, David Horne of Moscow, Russia; grandchildren, Cassie, Austin, Alex, Josh, Zack, Lorelei, Emma; daughter-in-law, Nataliyah Horne of Marietta; sister, Shirley Hoskins of Louisville, KY; aunt, Donada Cassells of MA; a nephew and several cousins.
