Douglas Ray Little

Doug Little, age 64, died Monday August 13, 2018 peacefully in his sleep at home surrounded by his loved ones after a 5 year battle with cancer. Mr. Little is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Margie & four children, Jimmy Little of Lilburn, Doug & Ashley Little of Tucker, Tom & Kendra Little of Decatur and Mike & Tiffany Little of Lawrenceville. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Samantha Little, Maddie Little, Austin Little, Max Little & Oliver Little. Doug is a veteran of the United States Army. He grew up in Scottdale & Decatur, GA. He is one of nine children born to Norman & Annie Lee Little of Monroe. He is survived by his brothers Steve Little, Dannie Little, Nolan Little, Randy Little and Gene Little and sister Brenda Covington and their families. He is preceded is death by his father Norman Little, brother Jerry Little and sister Joyce Bunch. As a young man, he learned painting & home repairs. He enjoyed fishing, coaching, westerns, sleeping on the deck at the beach and playing with his grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 15 from 6-8pm and Thursday, August 16 from 12-2 pm at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur.
