Mr. Douglas "Doug" V. Ingram, age 64, of Atlanta died Sunday, February 10, 2008. Born and raised in Miami, FL, Doug spent over 20 years as a Broadcast Engineer at WSVN. He worked from 1989 to 1997 as a Broadcast Engineer at WAGA in Atlanta, and then he started his own business, Broadcast Software Solutions. He was a well known engineer throughout the broadcast industry, lifelong technology enthusiast who built his own computer by hand in the 1970's. Doug loved still photography, classical music and history. He was proud of his Southern heritage. His favorite picture subjects were waterfalls and grandkids. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Pitts and Rosalie Ingram. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Linda Ingram; his daughter and son-in-law, Debora and Mike Millson; his brother, Dana Ingram; and grandchildren, Daniel and Kate Millson. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 13th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Kevin Knab officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Foundation for Public Broadcasting in Georgia (Georgia Public Broadcasting), 260 14th Street, N.W. Atlanta, GA 30318. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
