Doye Evatt

Mrs. Doye Johnson Evatt passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Southern Angels Personal Care Home. She was born on December 5, 1914 in Lexington, TN to the late Ada and Zelon Johnson. Mrs. Evatt graduated from Lexington High School and Draughn's Business College in Nashville, TN. She worked for the U. S. Government in Washington, D.C. and Oak Ridge, TN. She retired from Unysis in 1985 in Atlanta. She was a long time member of the Northlake Church of Christ. Mrs. Evatt was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin D. Evatt. She is survived by her nieces, Janet S. Alverson of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and Linda Bishop and her husband David of Roebuck, SC. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 24th at Westview Cemetery. Mr. Joe Glenn will officiate. A. S. Turner & Sons
