Dr. Douglas W. Rist

Douglas W. Rist, 42, of Atlanta, Georgia died on Tuesday January 22, 2012 at his residence. Douglas was born September 6, 1969 in Bladensburg, Maryland to James and Nancy Smock Rist. In 1986, Doug was elected to The Society Of Distinguished American High School Students. He attended Washington And Jefferson College and graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1993 with a doctorate degree. He practiced as a chiropractor in Atlanta, Georgia. Doug is survived by his parents, brother Charles A. Rist and wife Lisa, of Evans City, Pennsylvania, various aunts, uncles and cousins and his dog Miss Parker. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at 4:00 PM in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 - 4:00 PM.
