Dr. Francis J. Bridges, 87, of Atlanta died on August 1, 2011. He is predeceased by his wife Mrs.Virginia Holley Bridges, and a son Mr. Brian J. Bridges. Survivors are his son Dr. Stephen Bridges and his daughter Ms. Cheryl Bridges, sister Mrs. Eugenia B. Trawicky, sister-in-law Mrs. Elise N. Bridges and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held today Wednesday August 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A.S. Turner and Sons is in charge of the arrangements.
