Dr. Richard Brent Clow, Ph.D. died November 13, 2005 at Hospice Atlanta. He was born August 24, 1942 in Crisfield, MD. Dr. Clow retired from Georgia Perimeter College, Rockdale Campus as Professor Emeritus of History. He was preceded in death by his father, James H. Clow, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Clow of Fairfield Glade, TN; daughter, Martha Clow of Atlanta; mother, Dolly Miller of Havre de Grace, MD; brother, Jon L. Clow of New Milford, CT; sisters, Fern Dzielak of Wilmington, DE, Pat Whited of Havre de Grace, MD, Beverly Gordy of Salisbury, MD; and extended family. He was the beloved husband and adored father who touched everyone he met with his warm personality and sense of humor. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 17th, Rev. James Dykes and Rev. Jay Hodges officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Brain Tumor Center at Duke, Duke University Medical Center, DUMC Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710 or Hospice Atlanta, 1244 Park Vista Dr., Atlanta, GA 30319. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at A. S. Turner & Sons
