Dr. Thomas John Michaels, 63, of Atlanta, passed away on March 18, 2017 in Atlanta, GA. He was born on March 24, 1953 to John and Olympia (Genoplus) Michaels. He graduated from the University of Alabama Birmingham Dental School and practiced as a General Dentist in Brookhaven for many years. He is survived by his mother Olympia Michaels, two brothers, Harry Michaels and George Michaels and also survived by the Papadopoulos family. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, 11:00 am at the Greek Cathedral of the Annunciation, Atlanta, GA, with Fr. Paul Kaplanis, Fr. Christos Mars, officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, GA. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 6:00 until 7:00 pm with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 pm. A.S.
