Dwayne Rupert Marshall, Sr.

Dwayne Rupert Marshall, Sr. passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 7, 2008. He was born in Johnstown, PA, later moving to Georgia and retiring from GM. He honorably served during the Korean War. He leaves behind his wife, Shirley; two sons, Dwayne, Jr. and Charles; two daughters, Debra Cook and Louise Marshall; two sisters, Olive Hill and Emma Crossin; one brother, Thomas Marshall; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. His service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home located at 2773 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur, GA with burial services being held directly after at Lawnwood Memorial Park in Covington, GA. The family will receive friends Thursday and Friday evenings from 5 until 9 at A. S. Turner & Sons.
