Earl R. Stephens, 84, of Tucker, GA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 3, 2010. He was born to Harold and Lila Stephens on December 30, 1925 in Grand Rapids, MI. Mr. Stephens was a lifelong Sunday school teacher, an active member of the First Christian Church of Atlanta serving in many roles, and self-employed as a sales account manager. He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor T. Stephens. He is survived by his wife Eleanor Froehbrodt Stephens; brother Clair Stephens of Wyoming, MI; sister Jane Murphy of Grandville, MI; children Eric Stephens (Lin) of Roebling, NJ; Dick Richards (Sue) of Grandville, MI; Susan Lantinga of Manlius, NY; David Froehbrodt (Rosemary) of Lincolnton, NC; Robert Froehbrodt (Estelle) of Lawrenceville, GA; Carl Froehbrodt (Melanie) of Wrightsville, GA; Rick Froehbrodt (Sharon K.) of San Diego, CA; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Monday, July 5 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, GA, 404-292-1551. The celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at First Christian Church of Atlanta, 4532 LaVista Road, Tucker, GA, 770-939-4359. Mr. Stephens will be laid to rest in Floral Hills Memory Garden, Tucker, GA.
