Edgar Zavala was born April 24, 1966 in El Salvador. He passed peacefully on Wednesday December 11 2019, ending his battle of lung cancer after four years. He was a caring and loving Father and Husband, who enjoyed playing soccer, making jokes, and helping others. He loved to talk about his past to others, and often told them as stories. Edgar loved giving advice to those that were willing to listen as well as to those that needed them without knowing. Caring was an understatement when it came to Edgar. He always made others his number one priority before himself. Edgar went above and beyond making his family and peers happy. Edgar worked at Little Creek Horse Farm for over 20 years, where he cared for the horses and managed day to day chores, creating bonds with those that he worked with. Family was his pride and joy. He has left behind his wife of over 22 years. Leaving her with fond moments and caring words that will never be forgotten. He is also the father of beautiful children and grandchildren here in The United States and El Salvador, who will forever hold him dearly in their hearts with memories that can never be replaced or forgotten. The family will receive visitors on Friday December 13, 2019, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday December 14, 2019 at Washington Memorial Gardens in Decatur, GA. Edgar, You will forever hold a place in our hearts. Holding place of a Husband, Father, Grandfather, and loving friend. You have fought for so long and you are now resting in peace. We will miss you dearly but know that you are in a better place. Until we all meet again, We love you Always and Forever, Until the End of Time.
