Edith Chase White

Edith Chase White of Decatur, GA passed away on Friday, February 27, 2015 at home with her family at her bedside. Edith was preceeded in death by her beloved husband Harry L. White. She was born in Saugus, MA on March 22, 1919 to Moulton and Lilla Chase. She was a longtime member of Decatur United First Methodist Church and will be missed by her dear friends at 'First Tuesday Circle' and by others who loved her there. Edith was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is survived by her children, Lois and Rick (Pamela), five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. We will all miss her caring spirit, love and generosity. She always had something dear and sweet to say about everyone. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the DUFMC Chapel at 2pm Wednesday, March 4, with a reception to follow.
