Mrs. Elaine C. Landers, 82, of Atlanta died Friday, November 18, 2005. She was a native of Atlanta and attended high school in Memphis, TN. She retired as a paraprofessional for the DeKalb County Board of Education. Mrs. Landers was a member of the Joy Sunday school class at Heritage Hills Baptist Church. She also was affiliated with West Manor Baptist Church in southwest Atlanta and maintained many lasting friendships. She was very active with the Atrium at Georgetown Square helping a number of residents. She was the loving wife of Clark A. Landers, Jr., who preceded her in death. She was the devoted mother of her children; Dr. Randy Landers and wife Suzanne of Tampa, FL, Judy Davis and her husband Sonny of Atlanta, John Landers and wife Phyllis of Lawrenceville, Linda
Landrum and husband Mike of Alpharetta; grandchildren, Kristen Baker, Brent Davis, Ryan Landers, Erin Reeves, Dana Landers, Lauren Landrum, Taylor Landrum, Carley Landrum; great grandchild, Kaitlyn Adams; sister, Ann Burgen and husband Frank of Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11 a.m. Monday, November 21st, Dr. Harold D. Zwald officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
