Elco Emory Morris

Elco Emory Morris, age 91, of Hull, GA passed away on March 17, 2015 in Seattle, WA. He was born on August 23, 1923 in Madison County, GA to Hoyt R. and Mary E. Morris. He married Sara Edith Tanner on August 20, 1948 and she preceded him on October 26, 2006. Elco received his BS in Agriculture from the University of Georgia and worked as a Milk Sanitarian for Fulton County, then the State of Georgia. He loved his church and was a member of Moreland Ave. Baptist and Avondale Estates Baptist Church. He was a gifted storyteller and a generous man. Surviving is a son, Hoyt D. and Renee R. Morris; sisters, Mary Sue Sluder, Carlene Williams; granddaughters, Cindi Anne Bates and Marci Lynne Ross. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home with interment inTanner Baptist Churchyard Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
