Elizabeth Atkinson Schuler

Elizabeth Atkinson Schuler, 82, of Saluda, South Carolina, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018, in Loganville, Georgia. Born August 19, 1936, in Newtonville, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Phillip E. Atkinson, Sr. and Dorothy Lipps Atkinson.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Debra Rhiver and her husband, William Waggener, Richard Rhiver and his wife, Leigh, and Ronald Rhiver and his partner, Parvati Anada; grandchildren, Ashley E Pollard, Daniel Rhiver and Kyle Rhiver; great-grandchildren, Aden Rhiver, Chase Rhiver, Luna Rhiver and Keeley Rhiver; brother, John "Jack" Atkinson; sister-in-law, Joanna Atkinson; and many more loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Schuler, and brother, Phillip Atkinson, Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018, at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, 700 S. Main Street Greenwood, SC 29646.
