Mrs. Elizabeth Mobley, age 83, of Decatur died Thursday, December 18, 2008. She retired from Emory University after 32 years. She was a longtime member of Decatur First United Methodist Church and a member of the Methodist Children’s Home Auxiliary. Mrs. Mobley was preceded in death by her husbands, Vern Mobley and Frank Warrenfells; and her sister, Genie Mobley. She is survived by her children, Susan & Ron Horne, Verna & Carl Rauschenberg, David & Cathy Mobley, Bob & Sherrill Mobley; brother, Tom & Ludie Rutland; sister, Irene Davis; ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Chaplain Andy McGill officiating. Interment, Decatur Cemetery. Those desiring may send contributions to the Methodist Children’s Home, 500 S. Columbia Drive, Decatur, GA 30030. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
