Ellen Francis Henson

Ellen S. Henson, 78, of Decatur, died Thursday, October 24, 2013. Mrs. Henson was an faithful member of Rock Springs Presbyterian Church, a master gardener, an avid hiker and a beloved grandmother. She is survived by her sons and daughter in laws, Greg and Cynthia Henson, Barry and Sonia Henson, Gary and Anna Henson; daughter and son in law, Kelly and Tom Elliott; sister and brother in law Mary and Wilson Exley; 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Rock Springs Presbyterian Church at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 27, 2013 with Rev. Karen Allamon officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at A.S. Turner Funeral Home.
