Mr. Elmer Hyatt, 90, of Tucker, Georgia went to be with the Lord on August 1, 2009. He was a devout Christian and an inspiration to many. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene where he served in various positions throughout his years. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Rustin Stowers Hyatt; numerous nephews; nieces; cousins; and step-children. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah, and their two children. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of A. S. S. Turner & Sons. Rev. Bill McCumber will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jesus Film Harvest Partner, 15055 W. 116th St., Olathe, Kansas 66062. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday evening at. A. S. Turner & Sons.
