Else E. Mueller

The family of Else E. Mueller celebrates 87 years of extraordinary life with the recent event of her passing on Friday, June 24, 2005. Her remarkable journey includes surviving World War II and escaping communist East Germany through the Iron Curtain. In 1952, she immigrated to the United States with her son and husband, with whom she celebrated a 25 year marriage. For the last decade, she resided at Phillips Tower in Decatur. She is survived by her two sons, Heinz Mueller and his wife, Pat of Decatur, GA, Dieter Mueller and his wife, Jerri of Acworth, GA; four grandchildren, Christina, Stefanie, Ian and Aaron; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 27th at Hillcrest Cemetery in East Point. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur.
