Emory J. Barker

Mr. Emory J. Barker, 73, of Decatur died Thursday, October 29, 2009.  Surviving are his wife, Mary Alyce Barker; daughter, Charlotte Mathews; brothers, Reverend Russell Talmadge Barker, Luke Barker; and three grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 1 at 2:00 PM at A. S. Turner & Sons with Reverend Ralph Easterwood officiating.  Interment Haw Creek Baptist Church Yard, Cumming.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Glenn Haven Baptist Church Building Fund.  Friends are invited to visit with the family Saturday afternoon from 2:00 until 4:00 PM and on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at A. S. Turner & Sons, 404-292-1551.
