Ernest C. Bangs

Ernest C. Bangs, 84, a long time resident of Clarkston died Tuesday, November 23, 2 010. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret W. Bangs; daughters, Clare Bangs, Nancy Clegg; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Beth Bangs; two grandchildren, Katie Barrett and her husband Michael, Joshua Bangs; and brother, Ed Bangs. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 27th at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Ellen Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in the memory of Ernest C. Bangs to The Alzheimer's Association, 1925 Century Blvd., N.E., Suite 10, Atlanta, GA 30345-3315 or to the Salvation Army, 1000 Center Place, Norcross, GA 30093. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
