Ernest Cermak, Jr., a longtime resident of Atlanta, GA passed away on Thursday January 16, 2020.
Ernie was born July 2nd, 1952 in Oklahoma City, OK. He attended Capitol Hill High School during which time he also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Ernie attended the University of Oklahoma and was a proud Sooner throughout his life. After graduation, he set off on a career in mortgage servicing for banks and mortgage companies across the country for more than 40 years.
His greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with and cooking for his wife and grandchildren, family and friends.
Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, Estelle and Ernest Cermak, Sr., and his stepson, Kenneth Cotter.
He is survived by his wife, Vicky Cermak, grandchildren, Westley and Noel Cotter, daughters, Cindy Jones and Lacy Link, terrier, Sandy and a host of loving family and friends.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to The Shepherd Center or The Humane Society.
A Celebration of his Life will be announced at a later date.
