Mr. Ernest Ezra Royals, age 86, of Decatur died Thursday, July 15, 2010. Ernest was an Air Force Veteran from World War II and went on to become General Manager at the Southern Weighing and Inspection Bureau. He was a long time member of Briarcliff Baptist Church and had been president of his Kiwanis Club. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Rhodes Royals; daughter, Linda Royals Blanchard and her husband Tom R. Blanchard of Atlanta; grandchildren, Amie McLemore and Reynold Blanchard; sister, Shirley McNair of Montgomery, AL; and eight nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 2 p.m. Monday, July 19th, Dr. Bill Bigger officiating. Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
