Eugene Mark Reiley, Jr.

Eugene Mark "Cook" Reiley Jr., age 76, of Tucker died Sunday, May 31, 2009. Gene was born to the late Anne Dorrian and Gene Reiley in Washington D.C. but grew up in Wynnewood, Pa and was a graduate and proud alumnus of Villanova University. After graduating from Villanova, Gene enlisted in the Army and was stationed in France. He worked 33 years for Rubbermaid Incorporated. Gene was President of the Southeastern Housewares Club. He was an active and beloved husband, father and grandfather. Gene is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Patricia (Lee): sons; Gene III of Decatur, Ga., Peter of Charleston S.C. daughters: Patrica Reiley of Jacksonville, Fla. and Terri McKendry (Tom) of Royersford, Pa; a brother Peter (Beverly) of Palm Harbor, Fla. He is also survived by six adoring grandchildren: Anne, John, Liam, Mark, Dorrian, and Cathleen and an uncle, aunt, several cousins and nieces. A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday June 5, 11:00 at Holy Cross Catholic Church: 3773 Chamblee Tucker Road. Interment at Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends June 4, 6:00-8:00 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church (Rosary at 7:30).
