Evelyn Arwood Garland, 79, of Atlanta passed away on Thursday July 21, 2016. She worked as an order processor in the catalog center for Sears and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen Garland. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Picard; sister, Martha Arwood; granddaughter, Alaina Picard; grandson, Matthew Picard; Her services will be held Monday July 25, 2016 at 11:00 am, in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons, with Dr. James N. Hollingswoth officiating with burial to follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Godfrey, GA.
