Evelyn Ellington Cox

Mrs. Evelyn Ellington Cox of Decatur died Sunday, September 25, 2005. She was a graduate of Auburn University. Mrs. Cox was a member of the Decatur First United Methodist Church and a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class.  She is survived by her husband, Moses E. Cox, Jr.; son, David Cox and his wife Diane of Stockbridge, GA; daughter, Carol Anne Duckwall and her husband Dave of Roswell, GA; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; sister, Marie Pate of Sandy Springs, GA; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons.  Bishop L. Bevel Jones and Dr. David Naglee will officiate.  Interment will be at Decatur Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Methodist Children's Home, 500 Columbia Dr., Decatur, GA  30030 or to a charity of your choice.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
