Evelyn F. Hauswirth

Mrs. Evelyn Frances Mayson Hauswirth, age 79, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, died December 12, 2004 following a long illness. She was born on April 12, 1925 in Mobile, AL. to Ethel and Leon Mayson. She married Charles Edwin Hauswirth on Oct. 13, 1945. She was preceded in death by her son Phillip M. Hauswirth. Mrs. Hauswirth is survived by her husband, Charles E. Hauswirth, Sr.; son, Charles E. Hauswirth, Jr., daughter, Jane Hauswirth Smith; grandchildren, Scott, David and Barrett Hauswirth, Rebecca and Paul Smith; and many other family and friends. She was a clerk for the City of Clarkston, GA retiring in 1982 after 20 years service. She was an active member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Stone Mountain, GA. She was very involved with Daughters of the King and was one of the pioneers in the vacation Bible School. She also taught Sunday school for many years. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren. She spent many wonderful times with them camping, fishing, even repelling. Her times with them were very special to her. Evelyn deeply touched the lives of all those who knew and loved her. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 18, 2004 at 11 a.m. from St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church with private interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in the memory of Evelyn F. Hauswirth to Jerusalem House, 1900 Emery St., N.W., suite 430, Atlanta, GA 30318 or Crossroads Hospice Charitable foundation, 1957 Lakeside Pkwy, suite 500, Tucker, GA 30084. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday in Hensler Hall at the church. A. S. Turner & Sons
