Mrs. Evelyn Milligan Sprayberry, 90, of Atlanta died Saturday, May 22, 2010. “Millie” retired from nursing as an RN at the age of 72. She grew up and trained in Knoxville, TN. She has been a member of Scott Boulevard Baptist Church for 55 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Sprayberry and son, Ronald Sprayberry. She is survived by daughters, Nancy Burney of Saint Marys, GA, Cheryl Lifsey of Warne, NC, Lorene Evans of Atlanta, three son-in-laws, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons Monday, May 24, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Greg Smith officiating. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial gifts to Scott Boulevard Baptist Church, Decatur. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at A. S. Turner & Sons.
