Evelyn Pierson

Evelyn "Eugenia" Pierson, from Atlanta, GA, passed away peacefully on Dec. 31, 2024.

She was 94 years old.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a stay at home mother whose emphasis was on taking care of her family.

Religion was also a very large part of her life. She was a devout Methodist who always enjoyed being active in her church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Rev. Marion Pierson, and her grandson Brian Kay.

She is survived by her children, Marilyn Kay (Benny), Elaine Gwin (Steve), Todd Pierson (Nancy); 6 Grandchildren: Alex Kay (Jami), Justin Gwin (Joanna), Whitney Eager (Jared), Jesse Gwin, Vivian Johnson-Pierson, Roland Johnson-Pierson; and 3 great grandchildren, Bryson Eager, Ethan Gwin, and Emma Gwin.

Her family will sorely miss her.

Atlanta, GA 30310

The service will be at the Westview Abbey Chapel, Tuesday, January 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM. We will meet at the front entrance and follow the hearse to the Chapel.
